My friend wants LIW advice!

My friend wants LIW advice!

So, my good friend is getting married Sept 6 at Niagara Falls. She isn't on this site b/c she is not an LI Bride but she knows I live on here. She has a bit of a dilemma right now and she asked if I could post and ask advice from you ladies

Basically, her FH's best man & another GM took him to Denny's one night recently to tell him all the reasons he should not marry her! Her FH didn't listen, obviously, but nor did he kick these jerks out of the wedding. She cannot stand them (with good reason) and does NOT trust them at all to do a bachelor party for him. Her FH told her that he just won't have one, but his friends are the type who'd 'kidnap' him regardless and she is just so upset and freaking out. I absolutely don't blame her and I don't even know what to tell her at this point. They also won't invite her 2 brothers to the bachelor party, which will make her feel better at least!... what a bunch of jerks! I feel SO badly for her!

Any ideas ladies?

be honest - is your friend evil? or a biatch?

is there any good reason his friends dont like her? or are they just jealous of her?

Haha, I was thinking the same.

Seriously, if she's a good person and they're just jealous or immature..I would be pissed at my Fh for not kicking them out.

if her FH respects her at all - they will be kicked out of the wedding.

same here - i know that my FH had 'friends' once that probably hate me - well they say they didnt but im sure they do - they got mad b/c my FH stopped hanging out with them every day and he started hanging out with me a lot - and i guess he wasnt fun anymore when he started dating me (b/c he stopped doing immature things, stopped doing drugs, stuff like that) so needless to say they arent 'friends' anymore - my FH grew up they are probably doing the same things they did 5 years ago KWIM?

but anyways, if your friend didnt do anything wrong those guys sound like losers - her FH should kick their asses

I am guessing they are just jealous that she is taking him away from them, or so they think. I'm so sorry your friend is going through this. My FH has a few friends who are idiots, but I don't think they would do something like this.

At the very least, her FH should never have told her. What was the point, to make her worry???? If he had no intentions of listening to them, there was no need for her to know.

But now that it's done, she has to trust him. No one can make him do anything at the bach party he doesn't want to. If she's worried about them slipping something in his drink, then he needs to get all his own drinks. I assume he doesn't trust these guys either?

And can the FH call her brothers when they are wherever they are and tell them to come, if he wants them there too?

LOL no, she is truly a wonderful person. They told her FH that they feel like they are fighting all the time and they think she's a negative person and they don't want him to be around that atmosphere all the time. Gimme a break. When I tell you they are the most in-love couple you will ever see, I am not kidding! It makes you sick to see them together

they are prob secretly jealous - or annoyed - do they have girlfriends? fiance? wives? i know my FH always said his real friends would understand when they fell in love - and they did - now they are just like him - well kind of

Ironically, her FH didn't even tell her - one of her BM's who is the wife (I think) of one of the guys, called to 'warn' her basically. Some of her BMs need to be kicked out, too, IMO. I think her FH is just hoping these men will grow up and knock it off but that doesn't appear to be happening. I am going to tell her to have FH call her brothers. That is the best option at this point. Thanks, Jen!
