My gripe of the day..........

Does it drive anyone else nuts when someone replies to a thread without reading the responses and types either the same exact thing someone else did, or doesnt read thru to see the OP answered someone elses reply and that your idea is no good for them or they dont like your idea? I UNDER STAND IF IT IS A 4-300 PAGE LONG THREAD but if its only a page or 2 thats what gets to me lol!
lol i see this so much and it drives me nuts...i understand if its people posting at the same exact time...but when 1 is on top and 1 on the bottom of the page or 1 on page one then 1 on page 2...that drives me crazy lol!!

I do that sometimes but it's because I have a comment about either the question or something else on the thread instead of at the end.

I have to say I am guilty of this. If there's a few responses I'll read it to make sure I'm not making a redundant comment but if there's a few pages I'm not going to read every single one! What really ticks me off is when someone bumps an old post and you reply to it only to find out that the OP has been married for 10 years.

I try not to do this, but sometimes the threads are soo long I don't read through the entire thread and post the same thing

sometimes, my main objective is to answer the OP's question and i dont read ALL the responses; especially if there are several pages

yeah i understand if its like 10 pages long you dont wanna read thru them all but if its just 1 or 2 pages...... lol

I do this sometimes. Other times posts can be confusing but I reply to the best of my ability for the sake of replying. Sometimes I dont read the whole thread and just post on the last page, I dont care if I repeated someone elses answer

I have done that so many times and then I feel like a jerk for saying whatever I said. Then I feel even stupider if I edit it for stupidness

I usually try and put a disclaimer at the beginning of my post saying I didn't read the whole thread so sorry if its a repeat answer....

but I agree sometimes I find it annoying.

ok i revised my gripe lol i mean when its like only a page or 2 long...if its ,longer than that then i understand but...wehn i see a 1 page post and the same thing repeated like 3 times lol drives me nuts!

OH MY GOD. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves!!!

Ok, I'll go one step further. I get SUPER frustrated when I (the OP) ask for advice and specifically say in my ORIGINAL post that I don't want something that has A B or C in it.

Then I get responses that suggest that I look into A B or C.

Did you not READ my whole post?!!? Notttttt helpful!

Some people are notorious for that!

haha I totally agree...I've done that a few times where someone will bump up an old old post for some reason and I reply to it
