Can I ask, who are you guys using to address them? and how much do they cost, if you don't mind telling...
calligraphy or laser printing? My invites should be ready this week and I was planning to address them on my computer and print. but haven't 'tested' yet. Im thinking if it doesn't work too easily I will need to send them out.

Mine are being done by one of my bridesmaids, whose handwriting is the most perfect thing on earth. It's not calligraphy, but she's doing it with a calligraphy pen. She just has one of those handwritings that you would swear is typeset!

Liz...definitely don't have one up. I still have SO MUCH TO DO.

Mine are with the Calligrapher as well. And, yes, I am nervous, too. My dad is still making changes to his list. I only ordered 150 invites and so far I need 140. That doesn't leave alot of room for mistakes and additions.

Thanks to my Palm Pilot M100, I did mine on the computer and printed them on the laser printer. I entered all my names and address in the Palm and then using the mail merge option, I dragged and dropped and printed the addresses. I did both the inner and outer envelopes. I selected Edwardian font and they came out beautiful, I did it all today.

MayDay, I'm also using the Edwardian script font. Isn't it beautiful?
I used it to address the STD envelopes, and got a lot of compliments

I too am very nervous about ours. They are done but have not been returned to us yet, I was gazing at the list we sent her last night and noticed three mistakes...god I hope I don't find more!

Getting the invites addressed and sent out makes everything feel so official! We used www.afineletter.com to address our envelopes and they turned out great.

Two of my BM's are great with calligraphy, so they are being nice enough to do it for me.

If you order invitations by Encore, they supply with a disk with software. In the software, you can enter your names and addresses of your guests. Then you send the disk to Encore and they print your envelopes in a digital calligraphy-style font. The price is $1.75/envelope, if you have an inner envelope also, it is $2.25/invitation.

The person who ordered your invitations should have told you about that. Encore holds on to the envelopes until you're ready to send them the disk, then they print them out and send the envelopes to the person who you bought the invitations from.
