The color of the card stock is ecru and for some reason it is very hard to see when I scanned it, but its a bit more 'french vanilla' looking than this.

The people we used gave us a 40% discount which allowed us to afford engraved invitations. Carlson Craft even sent back the copper plates they used for each item we had engraved. The only thing we would ever need to reprint in the future MIGHT be the informals but even then, we dont know if we'd need more than we already ordered. I have to give them a call tomorrow to ask them one more question. Before I post any review on the invite people or who they are, I have to see if they will honor the discount they gave me for someone I recommend to them since the focus of their business is not invitations but corporate promotion. I'd hate to have any of you go there with expectations and them not be able to honor them.

I am sending my invites out in the second week of December - a little early but it is right before the winter holidays and they may take a little longer to get to their destinations. I was also told that there is a possible postal increase starting at the beginning of 2006 which means that the stamps on the response cards, must reflect that. Some of the responses will be returned after the first of the year. Not exactly sure when and if this is going to actually happen and when the USPS will announce it. I would simply ask your postal worker when you purchase your postage.
