My Jaw Dropped and question to follow:

I went to my hall last night to pay a little of my balance and to pick up direction cards for the invitations. There was a couple in there getting rates and such for 2007. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that the SMCC was the 18th place they've looked at so far . I only looked at 2 and the SMCC was my second and final choice

How may halls did you look at before deciding?

About 10, but I had eliminated a lot by doing some research. And I had also looked at some while my cousin was planning her wedding, but I don't count those.

I looked at 6 and called a ton of them. I also excluded a few b/c I had my prom at one, an offce xmas party at another, and have friends and family getting married at others.

I lokked at 6 (I think) maybe a few others. I really wanted a place that had only one wedding at a time. I really tried staying in Nasssau as I have a lot of people traveling outside LI but I ended in Commack, the farthest I would go.

20 I guess I am Picky.

I walked out of anywhere that still had Wicker Chairs (No offense to anyone).

Alot, of places I went and loved where over my price range.

Alot of halls where to gaudy for me, I really wanted simple.

we looked at 4 but had been to two weddings right before we got engaged and i did a ton of research with my mom on teh interent and trhough phoen calls that eliminated a lot....
