I went to my hall last night to pay a little of my balance and to pick up direction cards for the invitations. There was a couple in there getting rates and such for 2007. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that the SMCC was the 18th place they've looked at so far . I only looked at 2 and the SMCC was my second and final choice
anyone that goes to over 20 halls is nuts. after the first 10, do you even know what you are looking for?? i think 5 or 6 is the norn...

Called almost 40 and visited 12...I hated that part...'hi my name is blablabla...what is you minimum, how much do you cost bla bla bla' I felt like a broken record. I was so happy when I walked into the windwatch I cried. It was just what I was looking for. . . .It was worht the work!

I looked at 2. NRC was first and we loved it, but we were unsure b/c the price and minimum were higher than what we wanted, but then we looked at a less expensive place and we realized 'you get what you pay for' we went back to NRC with our families and they loved it too, so we were just sold!
But I looked at the sites and services book and on LIW a lot and really narrowed it down. I knew I wanted 1 wedding at a time, and not too far from here, and blah blah..

As soon as FI and I sat down with the manager at Woodbury we knew we wanted to have it there no question. But just to get an idea for comparison we did go to another hall afterwards and it only made me want to use Woodbury more.

probably between jersey and here we saw like 8 or so.
a lot were ruled out due to distance and capacity.
there are not a lot of places in Nassau that can hold a big party!

Yup. It was the first one we looked at. It had what we wanted. We thought 'Why keep looking?'. We were happy. We did that with a lot of our vendors.

my cousin got married there and my FI's Installation Dinner for the FD is there. That place is so beautiful

I'm an 07' bride but I thought I share. I saw 17 places in all and one of them I went back 5 times because I wasn't sure. I didn't end up booking the one I saw 5 times. I ended up booking the last place I saw.
