I went to my hall last night to pay a little of my balance and to pick up direction cards for the invitations. There was a couple in there getting rates and such for 2007. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that the SMCC was the 18th place they've looked at so far . I only looked at 2 and the SMCC was my second and final choice

How may halls did you look at before deciding?

We saw 2...

Jericho Terrace was the first hall we looked at and we knew instantly...we checked another hall but we were happier with JT...so we booked it.

I didn;t even look at the hall I booked until after I had already signed the contract. My sister looked at the hall for me and i booked it

Visited 4, FH was my 3rd hall. Been to weddings at a few halls and others were eliminated from internet research. I would have looked at more but I just started school and since it was Sept and we were looking at Feb we needed to just pick a place.

anyone that goes to over 20 halls is nuts. after the first 10, do you even know what you are looking for?? i think 5 or 6 is the norn...

I had a two year engagment, so I figured why not!! Trust me I am a non-stress bride. I just liked to look around.

fox hollow(which i fell in love with right away)
westbury manor
larkfield manor
mediterrean manor
Jericho terrace

I think thats all we went to see I can't remember if we went anywhere else.

I had been to a wedding at leonards and had my prom at chateau briand so i already got to see both.

We thought we knew we wanted Jericho Terrace and it was the first place we saw, SO I dragged my fiance back to Ny 3 times to look at 15 places and in the end............................................... Jericho Terrace was the place for us, My fiance was SO mad because he was a chef and they toured us through the kitchen into the refrigerators and everything and he was ready then to book it but I wanted to make sure and there is just nothing like it for us so happy we found it
