My Jenerations review

I shot my B-pics with Jen from Jenerations this past Friday and it was such an amazing experience.

Jen is fabulous, she is young, fun and comfortable. I was really glad I went alone, because I think I let go a little bit more that way. I was really nervous and stiff at first, but she made me feel great without feeling silly. And gave me so much direction and advice, which was really appreciated considering I was in my underwear!

I arrived and Oksana did my m/u, she did a good job for the purpose of photos, but if I'd been going to a wedding or event I would have asked her to clean up the foundation a bit. Overall I learned that I prefer airbrush for myself for the purpose of my wedding at least. The makeup did photograph really well.

I did 5 outfits, and we took pictures for about 90 minutes. Afterwards we looked through the 160 shots she took and I picked out 50 for her to retouch and send my way. I was blown away with them, I was really worried that I'd be super critical of myself, but she made me look amazing. All in all I was really really happy with how they came out. I should get my final photos in a few weeks.

For anyone considering B-pics I'd highly recommend Jenerations, she made the experience great.

Thanks girls, So far I can recommend her 100%, and having seen the pics before retouching, I'm confident I'll be thrilled with them once she finishes editing as well.

I had my shoot w/her on Saturday and ITA w/you! She was awesome to work w/so much fun! I was blown away by my pics and am super excited to see the final edit!!!

Just a question - did she provide any accessories for the shoot or did you bring your own (ie scarves, necklaces, toys, etc?)

I brought my own stuff, but I do think she had a small chest of things, I didn't look through it though. I bet you can ask her what she has and go from there.

Thank you for your review! This was *SO* helpful. I really want to work with a photographer who can you a lot of direction for b-pics! I'm definitely going to look into Jenerations.

I am wearing one of those satin kimono type robes for when I change in and out of the outfits..once she starts shooting, I will just take it off. Dont plan on really taking any nude shots but for the skimpy lingerie, it will do!
