Here we go!!
Blue Moon in Rockville Centre (rehearsal dinner) - A++
The service and food were amazing. We had the back room and the dinner was served family style. Everyone is still raving about it. Mike, the maitre'd, was so accomodating, throwing in extra food and allowing us to stay a little past our end time. DH and I had such a good time at the RD hanging out with friends and family and eating a ton!
Colonial Florist - A
My flowers were absolutely beautiful and stayed fresh all day.
Royalty Limos - A++
On time, the limos were clean and they helped coordinate the bridal party at the church. They even fixed my train and veil before I went into the church. They had chilled champagne in both limos and bottle for me and DH when they picked us up at the end of the evening.
Glenmar Studios - A
They are the house photographer for the Swan Club and they were great to work with. On time and not obtrusive at all. My proofs came out great!
Get In Tune - C
Everyone danced all night long so that's really what is important but I had a terrible experience with this vendor. During the last meeting before the wedding he was totally distracted and it wasn't until we were almost done talking that I realized he had another couple's information in front of him! During the reception he got into an argument with DH relatives about the volume of the music and he played the wrong songs for the boquet/garter toss. The worst part was I wanted low-key and elegant and at one point I looked up at the dance floor to see the percussionist we had hired wearing a Michael Jackson mask and dancing with my guests!!! I was so mad I told the DJ to get him off the dance floor right away. This was the one vendor I had my doubts about and I was totally right. No one but me and DH know the aggravation he caused b/c everyone said they had a great time and never danced so much.
Adam Tully - A
We hired Adam to play guitar during the cocktail hour and dinner and he was fantastic. Awesome to work with and the guests loved the live music during dinner.
Swan Club - A
Totally amazing. We had the most beautiful weather and the gardens were blooming and looked beautiful. The staff here was great and very attentive. People are still calling to tell me how wonderful the place was.
We went to Aruba for our honeymoon and stayed at the Radisson. UNBELIEVABLE!!![]()
We had the most relaxing and romantic time, I never wanted to come home. I got a lot of the Aruba info from this board so thanks to all you Aruba brides!!
