Congratulations! You and your husband looked fantastic. I went to a wedding at Villa Lombardi's last year and it was great as well. I have another one coming up in September. Thanks for all the great information on your vendors. Enjoy married life!!

Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments. Our honeymoon was to Wine Country, San Francisco and Half Moon Bay, California.

First we spent 4 days in Wine Country visiting Napa Valley and Sonoma. We took the Wine Train in Napa where we dined on a five course meal and traveled through the wineries in Napa Valley. It was very romantic and gave us a chance to see everything while relaxing. We also visited the spa at the hotel where we enjoyed a couples massage and relaxed in their different pools. Our hotel was wonderful and we can't wait to go back for our one year anniversary.

Then we drove down to San Francisco for 4 days. San Francisco was great too but a little less relaxing that the first part. We did the touristy things like Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street and of course shopping. My husband enjoyed his birthday dinner at the famous Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant. It was a lot of fun. Our hotel was right in the heart of Union Square and for those of you that know the area you can imagine the shopping heaven I was in! We stayed at the Westin, St. Francis. The cable car stopped right in front of our hotel.

Then we were off to the Ritz Carleton in Half Moon Bay for three days. I had no idea about this town but when I saw the picture of the hotel on the Internet (the one below) I knew I had to stay there. It was incredible our room had a balcony view of the Pacific Ocean. They actually upgraded us to the club level floor which has secure access and a club room were they serve gourmet food all day long (free of charge!) b/c we were on our honeymoon. This was HEAVEN. We fell asleep at night to the waves crashing in the ocean. It was like a dream. It was so relaxing and we once again enjoyed the spa. We had another couples massage and I had a facial and a pedicure.

The honeymoon like the wedding was wonderful. We decided that we would like to go back for our one year anniversary and stay in Sonoma and Half Moon Bay again.

Sonicstef,

The flowers at my wedding were beautiful and in the end I was very happy with Spitz and Peck. I know they have a wonderful reputation and many brides will be using them. I am sure my experience was a fluke and they really tried hard to make sure that my day was perfect. Make sure that you have in writing, and pictures if possible, everything you want. For example be very specific if you want things like opened or closed roses. Flowers are fragile and especially in the heat the florist has no control of how they will respond.

would you mind elaborating on exactly what happened? I will not be offended if you tell me they suck and are incompetent. Knowing what they put you through will help me avoid the same things.
