My hall wants to know where I want the vendors to sit. They can be at a couple of tables in the hall where all the other tables are or they can be in a separate room just off the room.
Note: I forgot to add their tables (2) into my final numbers so I would have to order 2 more centerpieces. Not a huge deal, but a factor.
Where are your vendors sitting?

No one mentioned that but i was always interested in where they ate too.. should of asked last night when I was at the hall. I have plenty of room so probably have them at their own table but no centerpiece they don't need one.

Wait, how many vendors are you feeding that you'd need two extra tables? I think I just have my 2 photogs. My DJs are friends of the FH's so they're guests anyway. I don't have a DOC. Who am I missing???

i said OTHER b/c i have no idea where they sit... but i do know that I really don't want to spend the money on centerpieces and what not for them, and i don't want my guests wondering all night who they are or why the tables are empty...
is that evil?

Seperate room & no CP's. I am thinking they will probably be working most of the time anyway so would like a few minutes 'away'...

Our minister is seated with the guests. The DJ service eats at their booth and I think those are the only ones that would be around for the dinner, the rest of them will be serving it. I think (Scratches head)

when i met w/ my RH they told me not to worry about the vendors at all, that they'd find their own place to eat. we're very crowded in our room, and i was concerned about that, but they said not to even think about it, so i'm not

In fact, which vendors usually eat? Like, if you have musicians at the ceremony in the afternoon...do they stay through the cocktail hour and eat dinner? What about the Officiant (if he's not a family member or friend)? The make-up artist surely wouldn't stay...would she?

I only saw them in the same room at one event that I went to- I voted separate room especially because of having to order extra centerpeices- which at this point there is no point to and also as someone else said about what they were wearing.

I think a separate room. I used to work in catering and always preferred to get away from the guests and take a little break while eating.

Just my opinion but I would choose the separate room...my reason being I don't like things to look sparse so more or less they'll be working for most of the night then those tables will be empty for a majority of the time. And also centerpieces aren't cheap so why spend the money when you kinda don't have to.

i'm planning to have them in the same room like a corner table. NO centerpiece probably. I'd have to ask the RH the setup

i feel like they will think im rude if i seat them somewhere else.. I say add 2 more tables in the corners and not put CPs... maybe some rose petals?
