My mom could have just died

I talked to her on my way home and she was fine. i came online like 2 hours later to send her the list of ppl who havent RSVP ed and she wasnt answering my IMs....so i call her she answers the phone and is making all kinds of sounds and not making any sense so now i am screaming at her over the phone.

She took her insulin and didnt eat dinner and fell asleep....her blood sugar is like none existant. Im like what is wrong with you!! you could have just put yourself in a coma!

She told me she is fine....well she attempted to tell me that....she couldnt even get out a complete sentence!!! she said she was going to eat some cheese...she didnt eat dinner.....

so she is on speakerphone making her dinner and i refuse to hang up until she eats it! Im so upset :(

She is in Bay Shore....im in Orlando, FL

she sounds a bit better...i made her put me on speaker while she made chicken and corn....shes like i burnt it i dont want it.....i told her i dont care if its black tar eat it!!!

so her blood sugar is now like 170 but thats cuz she JUST ate better then then like 32 it was before!!

Me too!! she scared the poo out of me...i almost hung up and called 911 and told them to break the door down if they had to! i dont wanna go to sleep or maybe call her back and make her sleep with the phone connected just to listen to her snore so i know shes alive!!! lol

I told her she HAS to call me when she gets up...

WOW!!!!!!

Wow Jen I'm soo sorry....my cousin and Dad are diabetic. My dad doesn't take insulin but my cousin has the pump. It's nothing to play around with.

I'm sure the frustrating part for you is not being able to run over to make sure she's okay.

I'm glad you made her stay on the phone with you.

OMG Is she better?

Is there anyone in your family up here that can check on her?

if 1,500 miles is close....shes in Suffolk.....im in orlando florida


she called this morning and said she was feeling much better so i hope she learned her lesson
