I talked to her on my way home and she was fine. i came online like 2 hours later to send her the list of ppl who havent RSVP ed and she wasnt answering my IMs....so i call her she answers the phone and is making all kinds of sounds and not making any sense so now i am screaming at her over the phone.
She took her insulin and didnt eat dinner and fell asleep....her blood sugar is like none existant. Im like what is wrong with you!! you could have just put yourself in a coma!
She told me she is fine....well she attempted to tell me that....she couldnt even get out a complete sentence!!! she said she was going to eat some cheese...she didnt eat dinner.....
so she is on speakerphone making her dinner and i refuse to hang up until she eats it! Im so upset :(

oh so sorry - thank goodness you called your mom. Maybe you can pick up some of those glucerna bars and send them to your mom so she has something readily available that she does not have to cook. Does drinking OJ help bring her sugars up ? I know some people who will do that when they get 'shocky' from their diabetes as a quick fix until they get food into them.

Me too!! she scared the poo out of me...i almost hung up and called 911 and told them to break the door down if they had to! i dont wanna go to sleep or maybe call her back and make her sleep with the phone connected just to listen to her snore so i know shes alive!!! lol
I told her she HAS to call me when she gets up...
Good morning, Jenn!!!! How's Mother, today? I'm diabetic, too, but only on pills. The only bad 'low sugar reaction' I ever had, was when I did too much gardening/outside work, and I felt like I was going to faint. I had my Husband bring me oj, right away; I was scared!!!! Mary MOB
