My mom doesn't want her china anymore!

My mom doesn't want her china anymore!

This is china from the 1930's. It was something that was passed on to my mom by my grandma's good friend, back around the time that my parents got married.

She doesn't want it anymore; says the plates are too small (LOL) and that it doesn't go with anything in their house. She also doesn't have a china cabinet to display it all in.

She said she was going to sell it! Or just give it away!

This is stuff that I've used since I was a kid - whenever I see it/use it, I think of all of the holidays we spent together and such. So I asked her if I could have it and she said yes!!!

A few pieces were broken, as they had to move very quickly out of one house during Hurricaine Charlie, but that's okay. If I can find replacement pieces online, then great. If not, no biggie.

I wasn't even going to register for china. It's not really mine and FH's kinda thing, but I have such sentimental attachment to this set.

Sorry so long. I'm just so excited and happy!!!
