I love it, but the color is called rum, it's like a light satin champagne color.. it's beautiful, but my mom was like 'didn't they have it in white, wedding dresses are supposed to be whiet, aren't they?' and I was like they can be, but now a days they come in all different colors.. I dont' think I look good in white.. what do you all think?? Should I go try on the white, or is the Rum color ok???

I think the rum is beautiful and it is YOUR wedding...you should wear the dress that makes YOU feel the most comfortable! I am also pretty pale (although I hope to get some color before my wedding next June!!) and I don't like the way pure white looks on me very much! Go with whatever makes you feel like a beautiful bride!

OH Yeah - I forgot to mention that you may want to snap a picture in each dress... I ve been visiting photographers for ideas on where I want to have the reception (because I cant make up my mind) And I noticed that some of the bridesmaides dresses looked really bad in the pictures. You may be pleasantly surprised about how the white photographs on you.

I am also not wearing white. My dress is light ivory. I love it. I always knew I wouldn't wear white.

i am also wearing ivory with rum accents on the top and bottom and back of the dress. I do not like the way white looked on my skin tone. I am very fair, it just washed me out

I swear you don't look like a marshmellow and whatever looks best is fine. If it looked or horrible of if you looked like a marshmellow, I would be the first to tell you!! Trust me, lol. Is this the same dress or a new one??

Why do you need four months for fittings? At four months to go I haven't found a seamstress yet...
I have to bring my dress out to New york, but I'm gettting all of the alterations done here.. Hopefully my weight won't fluctuate too much within those four months before the wedding.. I can only come out to Long island for a month before the wedding, and we'll have a lot to do.. so I need to get my fitting done earlier.. not you though.. i'm a special case.. ugghh.. I live in Georgia

I remember you posting your 1st dress and your 2nd dress- I also remeber the enthusiasm you had when you chose dress2.
I think its a beautiful dress and you looked lovely in it. Have confidence in your decision- you looked great! The color is nice as well

I am using ivory and my mom actually told me that it looked better on me than white. His family hates the idea I am not wearing white, just remember to get whatever looks best on you and what you like.
