she was just picked up by ambulance. She is having severe stomache pains and is vomiting. I hope everything is okay. SHe had her gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago so the dr was concerned that she ruptured something... i hope thats not the case.. hopefully its just food poisoning but the Dr. said it wouldnt cause stomache pains..

I just got back from the hospital.. they still dont know anything. They think its possibly a gall stone left behine from when her gallbladder was removed 3 wks ago.. they are waiting to do the catscan.
As of right now I dont know if we are going away tomorrow. depending if my mom needs surgery. MY dad said for me to go. but i dont think i will be ok doing that.
They are transfering my mom to LIJ. They think she either has built up fluid or and Infection from the surgery. they cant tell for sure because she wasnt able to drink enough of the fluid she needs to take to be able to read the scan.
so we are still waiting.. i feel so helpless
Does it make sense that she could have an infection from the surgery from 3 weeks ago

oh wow- I hope she ifeels better. hang in there. If she just startd symptoms and they caught it early then she will be fine!

I am so sorry to hear that Gina. I hope your mother is feeling atleast a little bit better.
Its weird because my Nana went into the hospital as well today. She was getting severally dehydrated and she was vomitting and we needed to admit her and her heart rate is up really high and she already has had a heart attach and a stroke so we are a little nervous...
but thankfully she si ok right now.
Anyway I am keeping your mother and your family in my thoughts!!

Ill keep your grandma in my thoughts as well!! having a grandparent sick i think is wone of the hardest things.. as we get older we are always in fear but if she is strong, like it seems from your other post that she is.. she will be fine.. i know it! I am glad that right now she is doing better!!!!
