Not sure what it means yet -- her gyno called today to say that her screening came back positive for ovarian cancer. She said not to worry yet because there are a lot of false positives
She's going on Sunday for a sonagram, but im really worried. She's only 48. We dont have any previous family history with cancer so this is a shock to us. I'm just praying she's okay and that the test is wrong

I am so sorry...To make you feel alittle better, I have had false positives 3x and went for sonograms, and I am fine. There are a million factors that can cause the test to come back positive. Stay calm and I will keep your mother in my prayers..

omg I am so sorry to hear that. Just stay positive. We just found out 2 weeks ago that my mothers cancer is now in remission. We all just tried to be positive about what would happen. I will keep you and your family in my prays every day. I am sorry you have to go through this. I am sure everything will be fine.
