bed...just wanted to share..this is something MIL wanted to do..its their tradition but Fun...
They made my bed the night before the wedding and when we came back from Tahiti we slept in in for the first time as husband and wife.
The unmarried women made the bed in white sheets and a white quilt that was given to me at my shower., they wrote out our names in Koufetta (jordan almonds) and threw money and roses and rice on the bed. They were suppose to throw a baby on the bed but my nephew was sick so we threw DH's best friend (30 year old man) on the bed and a couple of my dolls....lol hopefully i dont give birth to a 30 year old man.

What a beautiful tradition!
Ours is a little different - only MARRIED women can make the bed so my mother and MIL made it for us, it was really nice
beautiful bedspread too!

Re: My new...
I LOVE the 'krevati' tradition...it's so much fun.
And you may just give birth to a boy...these things have a way of coming true. Here are some examples:
At my oldest cousin's bed-making event, there was no little boy around so they threw me on the bed (I was 8 years old), and she gave birth to a girl.
At my godmother's bed-making event, again there was no boy available so they threw me on the bed (I was ~15 years old) and she gave birth to 2 girls before finally having a boy.
At my brother's bed-making event, they threw a boy on the bed (finally!), and my SIL gave birth to a boy.
Regardless...congrats!
