My new wedding scrapbook pages

Original post by Teri

Sorry if I've posted a few of these before - I can't remember which I've shown and which I haven't!

The girls in my BP (I wanted a page of them before the big day all dressed up)

This is my favorite page. At the RD, I gave my sister (MOH) her gifts, which included a 2 part frame, and in one of the pics was a photo that my dad took of us when we were really young. It was our favorite picture, so I had it blown up and put into the frame. At the RD, she opened it and started crying. Luckily, someone took a bunch of pics so we were able to capture the moment :)
The journaling is about the photo and that's it on the bottom of the page

The first page of our big day! (this is where I've left off for now)

Teri, I just looked at them again...they are really good! You & Lisa Rose are inspiring me to finally start my wedding pages!

Teri

I absolutely love your scrapbook. Have you been a scrapbooker long? I would love to attempt to get our engagement to wedding photos in an album, well they are in an album, but I'd like to make onw like this. Is it difficult? Did you use square pages/ Are they just paper pages, or stiffer cardstock?

I have never scrapbooked before (can't you tell?)

part of the reason I want to do it is because I know I won't be happy with the album from the photographer

Thanks again everyone!

Erica - the sister letters are metal eyelets. They definitely give the page some texture.

dubliner - Thanks! I've been reading up on this for about 8-9 months now, but this is my first attempt at scrapbooking

I get a lot of my ideas and suggestions/help from Two Peas in a Bucket It's by far the best site I've seen for scrapbooking!

The pages I use are 12x12, and they're all pretty decent cardstock - the solid papers are a bit thinner but I use them with patterned paper above and in some sections, vellum as well. Then, all 3 pages are hammered down using an eyelet. (the eyelets can be decorative or functional)

It is time consuming, but I enjoy it. I'm stuck now because I need to go get more photos blown up. Annoying, because they need to be scanned, printed out, etc. and most time consuming - I need to choose each picture I want to use But I'm not necessarily in a rush to finish and I enjoy working on the pages

Any other questions, ask away!
