Hi Girls What questions are important to ask a florist? What was your experience with your florists?? Any suggestions on who I should look into?

I'm booked with Lenea from with all my heart!!! She is wonderful and really got my vision! Bring lots of pics. I had about 20 picked out, and we managed to put together bouquets of seasonal flowers based on what my pics looked like. Also, be prepared to pay more if the flowers you want are out of season. And make sure you get the flowers you want to use in the contract. Although they may not be available, she said that's what she would try to get those first.

Pedestal's is going to charge you the highest price possible, but they're amazing and if you want to spend that much, it's worth it. If you like Pedestal's style and want to pay a little less, go with Flowers by Brian.
I met with Flowers by Burton and anything I said I wanted, they couldn't do, so the guy kept trying to give me different ideas. We didn't see eye to eye, but they're one of the most affordable options.
We booked with Flowers by Brian and I love them!

We chose Flowers by Burton and they were fantastic. They charge you based on quantity not the type of flowers. I also like that they weren't a 'florist' so you won't be getting left over flowers. They were completely accommodating and I brought a picture of what I liked and they said NO problem and even suggested something I hadn't even considered. We really connected with them and the price, you can't beat!

THIS! My family all used Burtons and was overly happy with their service! They book up fast though so i'd go sooner than later!! Good luck :)

pedestals quoted me at over 5000 for 20 table centerpieces (high/low alternating), church flowers (two standing pots and a few bows), bridal bouquet, separate bouquet for throwing, bouquets for 8 girls, corsages for 7 guys, flowers for 4 parents, flowers for 2 grandparents, and corsages for my two readers. I went to Distinctive Floral Designs and Flowers by Brian and those were both around the same price, like 3500ish. But distinctive threw in more for that price than flowers by Brian. I was gonna do Burton's but i heard that the flowers you want are not guaranteed

so far I made appts for pedestals - flowers by brian tmrw will be calling with all my heart
nervous to start this process of flowers ... I don't have a specific color scheme yet(a few colors in mind though)...and I need a vendor who does over the top flowers. I am the type of person who is very picky and need/want things to be PERFECT. Everything MUST compliment one another - from the dress -to the venue- to the flowers. It must flow. This is where I wish i had a planner...

I also booked with Distinctive and got the most thrown in for the least amount of money. The quality of their flowers is great and I really felt like my consultant (Kris) understood what I was looking for.
