My photographer emailed me...

My photographer emailed me...

...and offered us a free engagement shoot!!!! I'm so excited. It wasn't free when we booked so we decided to just skip the whole engagement pictures thing, but now that it's free I'm so excited I can't stop smiling!

Now we have to figure out where to do it! I'm waiting until late April/early May because we're going to Punta Cana and I want to be tan, I don't want FH to look like a lobster, and I don't want us to wear anything bulky. FH wants to do Central Park because we go there a lot and explore, but I also want to consider Long Island locations as well. Any suggestions?

Thats awesome!! We're doing ours in late august/early september and we're going out to montauk! Thats where FH proposed and thats where we ended up on our first date so its meaningful to us :)

I also want to see if we can do some at the abandoned buildings of pilgrim state :)

Awesome!!! Argyle Park in Babylon is where we took ours. It is beautiful and a lot of different shot locations!

We did ours in Central Park at Bestheda Fountain and the Mall...they came out beautiful!

If you can't do it there you can definitely do them at the abandoned Kings Park Psych Center or Nissequogue River State Park (there are some cool abandoned buildings there too)

I love the idea of a picture of us walking away from the camera in the mall, I LOVE that area!

Crashing... Just be careful with Central Park. We wanted to do ours there because that's where we got engaged and our photographer said sometimes they get kicked out if you don't get a permit. They also said it can take a while to get but you could get lucky and they would leave you alone.
