I dont even know what to do. We're on such a tight budget...we cant spend a dime over $1900. Our package was perfect....we were getting 8 hours of coverage, 2 parent albums, one wedding album, a CD with all images, one 16x20, thank yous, etc. I DOUBT we can find a deal like it with anyone else. we're getting our deposit back, but I'm so worried....we loved his work and we had such a great package. He emailed me today to say he's no longer going to be working in the business....
UPDATE: Thankyou to ALL of you! I was sooo worried last night that we wouldnt find anyone who could work with our budget. Its so annoying to do all this work and book someone you are so confident in, just to have to go back and do it all again! You were all SO helpful and I looking into all of your suggestions. Thanks to STBMrsDaniRella, I have an appoinment with Gary Leli from Leli Photography on Sunday -- He was SOOO nice on the phone and helped me with everything (and of course, he's going to work with our budget)!!!!!!! I cant wait to see his work in person. FH and I have started to look at this mishap as a blessing in disguise! I'll let you all know how it goes on sunday

That's terrible! I don't know who would be able to provide all of that for that price. Try posting in the Vendors helping Brides section.

Hmmm...would you be willing to go with a photographer that just gives you negatives and you create the albums? I think that's the best you can get for that amount, but I'm not sure.
I checked out TimeXposures and Thomas Paul Photography, both vendors here and both extremely reasonble...check them out!!
Also try Twelfth Night- it's a DIY package.
I would imagine a new vendor on here, Kolen Weddings, could also be affordable.

Check out Ariana Studios ask for Jeff. They also have a website with an ultimate wedding package but you can customize it however you want. Good Luck

What about using a freelancer from craigslist.
My photographer was under 2000, but it's the one vendor I am nervous about, so I don't want to reccomend them until after the wedding.

Check out silverfox, I know that Franco is busy the night before and might be tired the next day but they have a lot of different photographers there.
If you get your images on a CD (which silverfox gives you the Hi Res images) you can get your 16x20 from any online picture place. You can also do your albums from online too.
Also, I am not 100% positive, but I think if you don't do albums in your original contract, and you decide to add them after the fact, I think you are still entitled to the prices that you booked with (the 2006 prices) I THINK that is how Silverfox works.
