My realization today....

I've finally come to the realization that after months of researching every place known to man and its resorts, we will end up at an all-inclusive in the Caribbean for our HM. You guys don't even know how this whole HM search has turned into such a hassle and headache for me, which it really shouldn't have. I wanted something different, some place amazing and some place perfect and with those standards, its no wonder that I've driven myself crazy looking for something that doesn't exist. Also, I realized that this will not be our last time ever to travel. I was looking at this as 'where have I always wanted to go' instead of 'where can we actually afford to go after the wedding is all paid for'.

All that should matter is that I'll be with FH and we'll have a great time no matter what.

No, I'm not looking for suggestions for once... I'm going to take a break from this HM business, take a breath and get back to it next week.

I guess this moral can be applied to all aspects of the wedding planning... the perfect dress, the perfect centerpieces, the perfect invites.... it'll mean nothing if you and FH can't enjoy the day together like you're supposed to.

Sorry for the long rant but it helped me feel better and got my head back on my shoulders....

FH and I have thought about that as well. We're like why are we acting like this is the ONLY vacation we will ever take?!!!

We decided on something bigger than usual but its def in our budget. WE're looking at a caribbean all inclusive for our next vacation after the HM (hahhaa we're already planning that!)
