My responses are due tomorrow and I still haven't.........

heard from 52 people!! At least 10 are family. One of my good friends hasn't responded yet so I said to her Saturday night at my Bachelorette party, you're coming to the wedding right? And she said no, she has a communion to go to. I am so livid! When did she find out about this? She has been such a bad friend since I started dating FI. Never returns phone calls, no interest, she is so bitter. I think she was waiting to see if she would have a date. Its so sad that she is this way. Still so annoyed about it. I did and still have a B list that will now never make it to the A list! Sorry, really needed to get that off my chest!

Sorry you are going through this. Why are people so inconsiderate with responses? They always seem to wait til the last minute- like the bride has nothing better to do than wait for them!!!

thats aggrevating! people are so inconsiderate.

I know we'll be calling MANY people the day after the rsvp date.
So far NONE of FFIL's family (who are all in Florida) have RSVP'ed. And his grandparents may not even come!!!!

FH said from now on when we are invited to a wedding our RSVP is going out the day we get the invite!! LOL

We invited 245 so inthe scheme of things its not that bad. I can update my list for about half, but I don't feel comfortable until I actually have the response in my hands. We'll see what today brings, yesterday we got none.

LOL!! I feel the same way! I need it in my hands, I don't care how many times you tell me on the phone that you are coming!! Get up off your butt & put the darn envelope in the mailbox!!!

Ok, so I just got the update ... on our rsvp date we got exactly ZERO responses in the mail!!

Yuck, I really didn't want to hunt people down and was hoping for at least one or two today.

I'm glad you got more responses!

I am getting SO annoyed. I am waiting for close to 30 responses (13 from family!!). My RSVP date is in 2 weeks. People better hurry up!!!

i got none yesterday.

I found out today that none of my stepmothers family has RSVP'ed to my shower!!! W T H??? its in 2 weeks, what are they waiting for? (not sure when the rsvp date is but im pretty sure its either last weekend or this weekend)
We told my MOH to not be afraid to call people... since she's bugging out over this.

Today is our RSVP date and we are waiting for 36 more responses....I know a lot of those are ones not coming...but just respond already!

OMG! how dare she?!?!?!?
I think that after the wedding you need to do your thing with your new husband and see what happens to her.. see if she calls or anything. then you'll know what to do.

I don't know why people are so slow in responding either... we're waitng for 72 people to respond and that rsvp date is Sunday... agh! hurry up people.

To top it off, my younger cousins thought it would be funny to wait till the last minute. Little do they know I have a plan... If I don't receive it by 11:59pm on Sunday night, I send out made up cards (as a joke to them of course) and say 'sorry but we met our quota' HA HA HA HA... they'll be devistated!

OMG i'm losing my mind!!!!! ONE rsvp today....
two yesterday, and two the day before that!!!!

and the inlaws keep saying 'you should send out your b-list' WE DON'T HAVE ONE since you INSISTED on inviting everyone you know!!!!! PLUS if your families were considerate and rsvp'd promptly, we COULD have sent some out!!!! UGH I WANT TO STRANGLE THEM!!!! NO ONE on FIL's side have rsvp'd yet!!!

UGH i had to vent.... this is freakin killing me!!

It's funny, I was thinking about this last night. My RSVP date is 4/10 and I still haven't heard from quite a few people. My FI and I were discussing it and he said we should wait until 4/17 before we start making phone calls because some people might not mail it out until 4/10. I never thought about it that way. So you might get a bunch of responses that first week after your rsvp date. I know it's hard, try not to stress about it.

our table count for the florist is due the week after the rsvp date.... so i WILL be on the phone the day after the cutoff!! They had enough time. I'm actually giving them a week longer than i really should have.

tracyg, don't even get me started on this! People are so inconsiderate!!! My B list will always be a B list now. I hate facing people at work. I really wanted to invite these people, they mean more to me than so many of these unknowns thta my parents and his insisted on inviting!!!!!
