heard from 52 people!! At least 10 are family. One of my good friends hasn't responded yet so I said to her Saturday night at my Bachelorette party, you're coming to the wedding right? And she said no, she has a communion to go to. I am so livid! When did she find out about this? She has been such a bad friend since I started dating FI. Never returns phone calls, no interest, she is so bitter. I think she was waiting to see if she would have a date. Its so sad that she is this way. Still so annoyed about it. I did and still have a B list that will now never make it to the A list! Sorry, really needed to get that off my chest!

yeah i would have invited my coworkers if i knew if these people were coming or not. So now i'd feel stupid saying 'hey, we couldn't get enough people to come to our wedding, so do you want to come now?'

If I were you, invite the work people if you really want them there. Of any group of people who can be invited on shorter notice who would possibly understand, I think it would be co-workers. Think about it if they are people you really want to be there ... why let when you are inviting them stop you.
Anyway, my date came & went and I was giving the stragglers until today before we started making calls next week and believe it or not, we only have three couples to contact!

oooo i can't stand people. First off, still waiting for 22 peoples responses. (actually more than that, but i KNOW some of them would not come but we invited anyway)
second- we first didn;t want kids invited. And this brat kid of my FMIL's cousin who doesn't even know what we look like was whining that he wanted to come. Well we hardly know him, so we said NO kids! Well we fell A LOT below minimum so we decided to invite kids (most over 7). So one couple who said NO because they couldn't get a babysitter, decided to come!! GOOD NEWS! thats 4 people. But then we hear the whiny kid that was B*tching doesn't want to come!!! LITTLE BRAT!!! Good don't come!!!! just had to vent my frustrations!!!
and some people who you think would NEVER IMAGINE missing FH's wedding, are considering not coming for BS reasons. His grandparents in FL for one (they tell us they'll decide at the last minute... yeah OK) . And his ONLY UNCLE and his family!!! (all on his fathers side)

Don't let is get you down. I was so upset all last week, because MY friends were the one's coming up with BS excuses. Can't find a babysitter, have a communion the next day in Pa. Then they say, I'll be at the church though! PLeae, don't do me any favors! Will definately be rethinking our friendship after the wedding. Anyway, you hit a soar spot. Last night I was out to dinner with FI and got giddy again (Thank God) just thinking that I would be marrying my best friend in 12 days! Try to remember whats important and screw everyone else!!!!!
