My review of Wedding Atelier and Bridal Atelier in NYC

I went to both of these salons with my mom and sister this weekend and I finally found my dress!!

Wedding Atelier-This salon is GORGEOUS! It's in a great open space with bamboo floors ( you have to take your shoes off and wear slippers that they give you). Their selection of dresses are in a pretty good price range (mod-high end). My attendant was very nice, but didn't have too many suggestions for me as far as dresses for my body type. She walked me through the entire store and selected gowns that I had brought pictures of. There was another bride there who was hogging up the mirror, so I didn't even get to see myself in any of the big mirrors. My attendant didn't bring me to another one, she just had me wait or go back in the dressing room to use the mirror in there. I would still suggest this place, you just have to know what you want before you go there.

Mark Ingram's Bridal Atelier-This salon is smaller, but they are moving to a new space next month. My attendant, Alene, was great! I showed her pictures and she brought me most of the gowns I wanted to try on, as well as others she thought would flatter my body type. She gave me a lot of time and attention, and most importantly, she was very knowledgeable. This is where I found my dress, but they carry more higher end designers...now I have to figure out how to pay for the dress!!! I highly recommend this salon.

Both of these places had really peaceful vibes, not busy and hectic, or factory-like some other bridal salons. I hope this helps anyone who is going to these salons.
