my shower is on saturday ......

and i feel so much anxiety over opening presents in front of people...... is that weird??? i feel like its so awkward and i dont want people staring at me and do i have to act excited over everything oyyy

no i was nervous too! but once your there you'll be okay (especially if you drink a mimosa or something lol)

my thoughts exactly - I had a couple glasses of wine in me by the time I opened the gifts...and I was fine!

Aww don't be nervous. Have a drink and you'll forget all about it. Halfway through the opening no one pays attention anymore anyway!

I made this exact post before mine which was the weekend before last. Everyone said it would be fine, just to relax and that it would pass. They were ALL right! I had anxiety walking in, but it disappeared immediately. Don't worry!!!

I felt the same way and I didn't open anything. We spent the shower playing games and eating. I really didn't care what anyone thought, I felt too awkward doing so.
