My Shower with pics and review!
So my shower was today...as expected...at the Garden Grill in Smithtown. We had about 26 guests, which was very low because sooo many people were away this weekend (I guess because school is out) so I was sorta bummed because I missed those that couldnt come, but what can you do I guess.
The place was beautiful and the food was out of this world. I had penne ala vodka with shrimp and it was delicious! I have to say I didnt eat much but the salad looked good hehe. The champange punch was SOOOO good. I must have had a pitcher on my own!
I recieved so many beautiful presents and many that couldnt attend sent gifts with other relatives. The bridal party got my all my bedding and pillows and stuff.
The invitations were AWESOME. FFIL made them and I have to take a pic but they are SOOO my style and so cute. The favors were little yankee candles with our names on them and they also had bud vases with various flowers in them for each lady to take home. FSIL also gave out various little favors for the games we played. OH and my mom made me the coolest towel cake!
I am sad to say that my gram couldnt make it as she is on a IV every day for the next month or so but she made us a beuatiful blanket and got me a GOREGOUS white gold and diamond bracelet that says 'I LOVE YOU'. I will take pics of it tomorrow but it is so pretty and sooo my taste.
Another cool gift I got was decorations for all the holidays from my friend jen. She put them in hat boxes and it was just a nice touch!
