My stay at the East Wind
was AMAZING!!! FH took me yesterday overnight b/c it was our 1 year engagement anniversary. We got there and checked in around 11am. Hit the gym for an hour, then it was spa time!! We each had a facial followed by a side by side massage in a couples suite which was gorgeous. After the spa, we spent some time in the heated indoor pool. When we got back to our room, there was a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! We hung out in the room for a while, showered and went down for dinner in the restaurant around 8pm. The food was good. I had a french onion soup followed by carmelized scallops w/ risotto. FH had a salad and a porterhouse w/ mashed potatoes. For dessert he had apple strudel and I had coffee. We went back to the room and took a soak in the jacuzzi tub. This morning we had brunch there and checked out. It was soooo relaxing and romantic. I am so lucky to have such a sweet FH.
