MICHELLE JUST NOTIFIED ME THAT A 2011 BRIDE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM!!!

SHE GAVE THEM AN 'F'



HOW DO I STOP WORRYING ABOUT THIS? ITS ONLY BEEN 5 MINUTES AND ALREADY I'M ASUMING THE WORST!!!!

Don't get too worked up, I know it's hard. But when a vendor has been around for a while, working with a ton of different personalities, someone is bound to hate them.

I don't think one bad review is a reflection on businesses as a whole.

I've seen a lot of good reviews on the 2011 boards, maybe post over there and ask the girls. I bet they can calm you down a little!

See what her complaints were and then talk to them about the issues you heard about. I am sure they know what they did wrong! See if you can write in anything specific on your contract.

I think it will be fine though. They will right whatever went wrong before your wedding!!!

I hafta be honest, I saw the pics she posted and I really didnt see anything wrong with what the centerpiees looked like, i thought they were so nice. of course i dont kno what she paid or what she was promised.

id just be very clear on what u want from them and im sure it will be fine... most vendors on here have a mix of reviews and a lot of the bad reviews get taken away if they r official vendors so ur never really getting the full picture anyway. im sure it will turn out great

THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN FULLNESS. ITS NOT LIKE THEY WERE TOTAL CRAP. AND OF COURSE, NONE OF US KNOW WHAT WAS ON HER CONTRACT OR WHAT NOT. MAYBE I SHOULD FM HER?

WELL FOR SURE NOW ONCE WE GO TO SEE OUR SAMPLES I AM GOING TO MENTION THIS TO THEM OR AT LEAST KEEP IT IN THE BACK OF MY MIND AND MAKE IT VERY CLEAR AS TO WHAT IS EXPECTED ON THE BIG DAY.

I HOPE IT WILL TURN OUT GREAT, OTHERWISE I HAVE 9 MONTHS & CHANGE OF WORRIES TO DEAL WITH EVERYDAY!

dont stress! FBB is a well known, established flower business. They probably just fell short on that wedding by accident, since you dont often read poor reviews of their work.

I did notice a difference between her sample and wedding day flowers, and I too would have been really angry.

I've heard nothing but great things about FBB...and Jill is 1000% right. Someone, somewhere is going to have a not so great experience.

Just be really clear about what your vision is and obviously ask to see samples before anything is finalized. I will def. be checking them out myself when it comes time for flowers!

I totally understand why you're worried, but just because 1 bride had a bad experience, doesn't make that vendor terrible.

I would let them know about your concerns upfront and be very clear on what you want and get everything in writing.

Take a deep breath - everyone has a different idea of what is good/bad. Just because one person had a bad experience doesn't mean you will. It's like two people eating at a restaurant - one person may love the food, while someone else hates it.

Try not to worry about it too much!!!!

Understand hearing something like this and becoming worried but try not let it get to you. Unless you know the person who said it and trusts her opinion I wouldn't put too much thought into it. For all you know person could have been a total bridezilla and just unplease-able.

I know from working in a service industry there are just some people out there that you cannot please no matter what you do and how hard you work at making them happy.

Just try not to take them so seriously unless you know the person and the whole story and trust their opinion. cause you will always hear some bad reviews about everything

Just make sure you have a lot of pictures of what they promised you. My florist took pictures the night we were there and even e-mailed them to me when I saw my sample so that we would both know EXACTLY what was promised. Pictures are very important, especially when it comes to flowers.

The flowers looked beautiful for the 2011 bride, but I can see why you would worry. Anyone would be concerned if they paid for x amount of flowers and received x-%.

Just take pictures and I'm sure you'll be fine. Granted, it's less flowers, but I doubt the guests noticed and the bride might be getting money back. I would just check their policy on that to keep your mind at ease.

I know how stressful this can seem, but like other brides have said on here, not everyone is going to be happy 100% of the time, there will be mix-ups and personality differences, you just have to make sure you cover yourself.

Make sure you are specific in what you want, and make sure you take pictures of samples through out the floral process with FBB. If you are really worried, ask if you are able to see your flowers the day before the wedding just to calm your fears. My friend did this with her florist and she was so happy that she did. She worked with p e d e s t a l s and we went in the day before to check on the bouquets. She loved all the BMs but hated her own. So as she stood there, they fixed it for her, adding flowers and more color and she was a very happy bride afterwards. HTH!

No vendor is going to have 100% perfect service for some reason or another and sometimes its beyond their control. Don't let one bad review bring down your whole opinion of them, but use it to look into them deeper and also to bring it up to them and let them know your concerns.

I saw her photos and I totally understand her issue, but that doesn't mean EVERY client will have that problem. I know i'd be reacting the same way as you so its ok for you to feel like this but it'll all work out!

It's rough, i feel that way about some of my vendors somethimes when you see reviews....

give them a call and voice your concern. see what they say/can do to put you at ease.

there have been plenty of good reviews too so try not to get too worried!!
