MY STOMACH JUST TURNED...

I would not worry to much just because someone was not happy with the flowers. Honestly I am sure there are plenty of brides that did not have a good experience with pedestals. I met with them and loved them.

Do not let one person's bad experience ruin your excitement for the wedding.

WE STARTED OUT IN HOWARD BEACH OFFICE WITH A WOMAN WHO NORMALLY WORKS OUT OF THE MINEOLA OFFICE (I CAN'T RECALL HER NAME RIGHT NOW).

THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED OVER THE PHONE WITH FH AND HE FLIPPED HIS SHIZZ AND CALLED AND SPOKE TO BRIAN DIRECTLY. AND BRIAN SAID TO DEAL WITH ONLY HIM FROM THAT POINT OUT AND THAT WAS LIKE 4+ WEEKS AGO.

WHO WAS THE 2011 BRIDE USING?

I totally understand why you're worried, but just because 1 bride had a bad experience, doesn't make that vendor terrible.

I would let them know about your concerns upfront and be very clear on what you want and get everything in writing.

I think it is important to remember that not every vendor will have 100% satisfaction rating.

My cousin used pedestals last year and 3 of her centerpieces fell (she gave them an F on LIW). BUT I know they have high ratings. So definitely do not worry!!!

I used them for my wedding and my flowers were gorgeous. my Bok was exactly what I wanted and the centerpieces were perfect. I have only heard good things and I had a great experiencxe with them

hey I was the 2011 bride. I booked in 2010 with stacey then worked personally with Brian because stacey was not there anymorel I am still currently fighting with them to get some money back with no success but I am not giving up. My suggestion to you is what another 2010 bride told me to do and I didnt. when you go see your sample and like it. count how many of each flower you have and MAKE THEM put it in your contract! that way there is no way they can say theyre the same.

check out my sample pics and then the 3 CPs from 3 of my tables and tell me u dont see a difference. They gave me half the Centerpiece and forgot to include the 2 cylinders with orchids anf floating candles on it! How is that for another screw up :o)

Don't get too worked up, I know it's hard. But when a vendor has been around for a while, working with a ton of different personalities, someone is bound to hate them.

I don't think one bad review is a reflection on businesses as a whole.

I've seen a lot of good reviews on the 2011 boards, maybe post over there and ask the girls. I bet they can calm you down a little!

I hafta be honest, I saw the pics she posted and I really didnt see anything wrong with what the centerpiees looked like, i thought they were so nice. of course i dont kno what she paid or what she was promised.

id just be very clear on what u want from them and im sure it will be fine... most vendors on here have a mix of reviews and a lot of the bad reviews get taken away if they r official vendors so ur never really getting the full picture anyway. im sure it will turn out great

I'm not very fussy with these things but I do see a difference. I like the idea of counting out the flowers. It assures you get what you pay for. I am booked with FBB also and I am not the least bit concerned! I worked with Joseph, and I felt so comfortable that I booked on the spot (that's a lot for me) at the Mineola store. I would not worry, but I would take the advice of counting the flowers.
