My tiffany necklace is.......

ruined!!! I put it in a jewelry cleaner and it turned this dark color. It was a gift two years ago. If I take it to a jeweler will they be able to fix it

You might be able to take it back to tiffany's and they might be able to clean it for you!!!

Try one of those jewelry cleaning polishing rags!! That usually gets everything off!! If not I would call Tiffany's!! Good luck!!

that happened to one of my neckalces once and i ran it under hot water and used liquid soap on it right away and the dark color came off

Was going to say that same thing- if it doesn't work then I'd call Tiffany's and ask them what is best.

Was it silver??
When you put silver in non-silver jewelry cleaner, it tarnishes instantly. All you have to do is get some silver cleaner and it will be good as new!!

oh yea that's what happened to it. I am trying the hot water and soap, but not much brighter. I will take it to Tiffany's ASAP tomorrow morn.

try toothpaste - always works for me (the paste kind, not the gel)

i've also been told tide in hot water or windex in hot water but haven't tried those.

my friend who's a jewelry designer says just use really hot water.

if you still have the cloth bag it came in, it doubles as a silver cleaner! I use it all the time to polish my jewelry from them and it works!

did you put it in a gold cleaner by mistake? i did that once and then put it in the silver cleaner and it was fine. bring it to tiffanys they should be able to fix it

walmart silver liquid cleaner.. its amazing i clean all my tiffanys in it and its about 3 bucks

its totally worth it... i dip it in and pull it right out cleans in 2 seconds and dont have to sit there cleaning it with a cloth. I have a lot of tiffanys stuff and clean it all that way, rinse with a little soap and water and dry with paper towl because the liquid is like a bleach and will stain towels

This happens to me a lot if I leave it laying around. I have the Tiffany Silver Polish and Cloth and it looks like new once its cleaned. If its the mesh collection I believe they clean it for free, which I NEED to get done ASAP.

If you bring it to Tiffany's or send it, they send it out to their cleaners for like $20 and they clean it. It looks brand new when you get it back!!!!
