Hi girls! I went for my makeup trial with Jillian from Gorgeous Faces on Tuesday night. I really loved the way it came out. The only thing I am not sure about is the fact that she does not do airbrushing. I had airbrushing for my e-party and I really felt that it made my makeup stay on really well. I went for my trial with Jillian at night, so I really only had the makeup on for about 4 hours. It did still look great 4 hours later, but I am just concerned about it lasting all day. I must say though that I was happy with the makeup and colors she used. I booked her to do my makeup for an e-party I have to go to on Jan. 2nd, so I will decide around that time. I really loved the colors she used and she made my eys really stand out beautifully! So all in all I was extremely happy, but I only have concerns about the airbrushing. However, I have really great skin (no blemishes and I very rarely break out) so I don't really need airbrusing to cover anything up. I am only concerned about making the make up stay on all day. I am also considering having her with me until the beginning of the reception just so she could touch up my makeup during pictures and stuff. Price - wise she is very reasonable too.
Have any of you used her or have gone for a makeup trial with her? What do you think about not using airbrushing?

I am also using Jillian and was so happy with her. I have never had airbrushing and like you have good skin (no breakouts) so I was not even considering it. I know that other girls have used Jillian and were very pleased. I will post this question on NWR board!

Actually, I have heard airbrushing is better for people who have perfect skin.

Did you have problems getting in touch with Jillian? I called her 2x and today a third. This is the last shot. If she doesn't call me back I will try someone else. Did you have problems reaching her too? Just wondering

I booked her for my wedding...I thought she was GREAT ...she was my 2nd trial...and my first trial was airbrushing and I didn't like the way it made my face look at all!!...IMO I prefer the natural makeup...

Hmm, I did airbrushing on my last trial, and I really didn't think it was that great. It wasn't so different from regular make-up. I'm just going to forget about airbrushing, and I'm going to go on a trial with a MAC artist next month that I was recommended through another site.

I used Jillian for my wedding - she is great. My makeup lasted all day. She is also very reliable. She got to my hotel 15 minutes early, at 6:15am on a Sunday morning. She may be hard to reach immediately but leave a message. She has a full time job so give her some time, she will definitely call you back.
You also can't go wrong, she is VERY reasonable too.

I had my trial with jillian and i booked her and a coworker of hers to do my makeup and hair. i absolutely loved her. i thought she was so personable and i thought she did a wonderful job. she had a great personality and i felt so comfortable with her. i think i left 1 or 2 messages for her and then she called me back. she also had her coworker get in touch with me about the hair. i prefer natural makeup as well. i don't want to do the airbrush.
