My turn!

My turn!

Sooo we are taking our e-pics on Friday the 12th and now I am wondering what I should do about my hair.

On any regular day I wear my hair curly. Part of me thinks that since that's usually how I wear it I should do the same thing that day. The problem is that it doesn't always want to cooperate and sometimes it comes out looking kinda jacked...there's not really anything I can do to make sure it comes out good.

I could get my hair done in like loose curls but then I don't look the way I always do.

Thoughts??

i would go with the loose curls, better to be safe then sorry, and plus its not like it will be pin straight so it will be kind of how you wear it everyday just a bit more done up which will look really nice for your epics

Or maybe have someone just put some sort of hair product so that your natural curls don't go crazy.
Hopefully there won't be any humidity!!!

Re: My turn!

hmmm. Well how do you wear your hair when you go to an event?

See my thing is, you will be looking at these pics forever. Why not do your hair the way you feel most comfy. I have curly/wavy hair, I hardly wear it curly, I usually blow it out and curl it with a large barrel curler. So for my epics, we did a version of it, but made it more beachy.

You have to do whats comfy for you. If you have curly hair, why not visit a curl expert the day of and have them style it. I know that there are a few in the city, but you can try Maximus or something.

The other thing, my friend has curly hair and she uses a small barrel curling iron to perfect her curls, but first she uses Quidad styling crap, and than lets it dry, and than fixes the peices. While her hair is wet she twirls section too. Thats what she taught me to do.

Re: My turn!

I totally feel you on this one... I have naturally curly hair and I have a love/hate relationship with it. Some days I have the prettiest hair in the world, other days OMG, looks like I just rolled out of bed. Most days, it looks good though, but it took me years of perfecting my routine and finding the right products!!

When my curls are being unruly, I take my flat iron and smooth down the kinks in the curls, it definitely softens my look. I have a Chi flat iron, it's expensive but it's the best one on the market, it's a great investment. Or curl your hair like you normally do, dry it, then curl it with a curling iron. I find that if you put your normal products in and dry it, then use the curling iron you have a lot of volume and the curls really last. HTH
