My turn for an RSVP rant..

So..my RSVP deadline is Friday, I have 117 confirmed and 50+ outstanding cards and I got ONE, count it yes! One card today..***!

WTH is with people??? I mean, I have to admit I was not always the quickest to respond but after this experience I will always send my response asap!!!!

my FH cousin had 70 ppl who didnt rsvp! ppl are so inconsiderate!

btw - my fsil was one of them! :(

We had / are still having the same experience!! Our wedding is in 2.5 weeks ahhhhhh and we are still getting stragglers in the mail. I mean really?!

I felt the same way with my eparty....FH asked his cousin if he was coming bc he didn't rsvp & his excuse was 'of course you know I will be there, i didnt think I had to actually respond'

PS we've been wondering the whole time if he was coming bc he lives out of state. we really werent sure. NOT a good enough excuse!

Uhh, that is so rude!! FH has informed me that if we have met our ideal Headcount, and get those straggler cards, he will call them and tell them they missed boat and can't come..I think he is all bark. But still, receiving cards at the last minute??!? No Bueno.not looking forward to additional stress.

I know what u mean, most of the missing cards on my side are from BP members and out of town Family. I mean come on!!I think sending the card back, or responding however we have requested, seems to me like more of a commitment from them. I mean I put the stamp on it!!! I have been very reluctant to accept verbal acceptances..I have only accepted them for people who claim to have never received the invite.

welcome to the club sister! I can laugh now because it's over. Now I'm dealing with people changing their responses to 'no' for various (valid) reasons with 1 week left It's not as bad as I thought it would be though...I'm over the emotional aspect and secretly getting excited that we'll be saving $$!

We had to track down about 30-40 people I think. A lot were family and figured we 'knew' they'd be there I definitely have a new understanding and respect for RSVPing on time, if not early! I'm a changed woman.

It'll be over soon

Me too w postage my invites were like 11 dollars the least people can do is RSVP I gave 6 days left and 34 invites w no response many if whom I work with *** people?
