My very own horror movie

So I get home tonight and notice that the door to our apartment is ajar. FH's car isnt' in the street so I know it's not him. So I peaked in and since we only have 2 rooms in our apartment, I figured the predator must be in the bedroom if there was one.

So I grabbed the biggest knife I could find in the knife block and poked around seeing if someone had broken in. I'm a stab you repeatedly and then run away screaming kind of girl when it comes to that kind of thing. Luckily, FH must've just not closed the door tight enough and the wind blew it open. I was pretty sure it was safe - we have a side apt in a house so it's not like anyone would even know it was there. But it was a little nerve racking nonetheless.

All I can say to you is that you are out of your mind !!!!!!!!! I would have never gone into the house alone !!!!!!! You are one brave woman !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just so everyone doesn't think I'm suicidal, it is truly a TINY apartment so there's not even anywhere to hide. It's almost a studio so you can basically see almost every corner from teh front door. If it were any other apt, I would have called someone to come walk me in.

omg this happen to me once. the dog was sniffing the stairs all weird like someone new went up. the apartment was huge second floor of a house, and an entire attic. so many places to hide. i got in my car with the dog and locked the doors to call the police.
