My visit with Nick at Chateau La Mer

You were right! He is a DOLL! So very nice! I told him I heard of him on liweddings and he feels like a celebrity!

I decided not to go with East Wind with the rain issue - you never know... but if it rained at CLM I would still have a great view :)

So tell me everything you know about CLM... Will they throw it chair covers?? Were the people on the docks loud? Were there mosquitos? Did it smell like seaweed? If so what month was it?

Any help will be appreciated!

I am partial of course...

I have heard the docks arent a problem because they are pretty respectful when a wedding is going on (if you are getting married there).

Umm as far as the smell, I dont think anyone has mentioned a smell... its just breathtaking as can be and you get to arrive on a yacht!!!

Jen, Nick was the one who mentioned it LOL... I asked him about the docks and he said the only thing is rarely they get a smell during low tides... but he said if it happens which is very rare it would be in August... I dont mean to scare anyone.. Sorry if I did.

Amy I've been out of the loop. How's your son? and I thought you guys decieded to get married in his parents backyard by a lake? What happened? Either way Im happy for you I know you were upset at first about having to cancel the big day. What about your deposit at JT?

I went to see CLM as well and loved it. You kinda run that risk anywhere near the water but I wouldnt worry about it so much. My parents house is 1 block from the water and you do smell low tide every now and then in the summer, but its now like your guests will be outside all night anyway. They will be partying it up inside.

I think what you get for the money at CLM is terrific and they seemed very willing to work with you and add on stuff for free which was great. I really liked it there. I didnt book only because I wanted a place that had very large grounds because that was important to us. But I tell everyone I know who is getting married to go check out CLM

The doctor tells me Gabe has ticks... He has an EEG in April to find out for sure whats going on. He also has spasmatic croup, but I think its asthma.. Hes been good since Tuesday so Im keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for asking...

We were having it in the backyard, but FMIL said listen its becoming too much work. Well just give you $6,000 towards everything and you pick out everything yourself. Works for me!!! :)

JT - I lose my deposit, but figure I want a place with nice grounds or on the water..... I found some a bit cheaper and more flexible so Im checking them out this week :)
