ROZ!!! if u need to vent im here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same shyttt happened to me. i fkn printed up a pic of the cake..allllllllll i asked the bakery for was a PLAIN square 4 tier cake. as im standing for 45 min waiting for the BAs(dimwits) to bustle me.. my doc and matre'd tell me my cake isnt exactly what i ordered. i got a cake with dots and BOWS. doc and maitrd had to peel off the bows... i didnt see how it looked like, but DOC said it was HIDEOUS.

i hope u are compensated in some way. your cake looked GORGEOUS , but it should have been PERFECT. shame on them

Sorry Roz!! Hope they make it up to you, coz that is totally unacceptable!!!

The cake design was gorgeous, btw!! Wish they had done a better job of making it smooth, and avoid it from slipping like that.

HOLY COW! i can't believe the top tiers are sliding off like that!!!

You 100% absolutely should be compensated for this - keep us posted!

Oh wow I'm sorry that happened to you. Seemed like it would've been a beautiful cake.

I'm a CB bride myself, so now I'm worried and hoping that I won't have to experience that.

completley unacceptable!
its sliding prob bec they didnt put the dowels in to make it sturdy which you have to do with any tiered cake!!
dont let them tell you any different!

i'm soooo sorry to hear that Roz! i hope the CH calls your DH soon and get's this resolved! ask for a refund!!!!

btw, do not feel TOO bad. i went to a wedding last summer where the cake was near the executive table. the whole bridal entourage was sitting with the couple and the GMs kept stamping their foot during the toast. well, the cake slowly was tipping sideways and crumbs were definitely falling off!!! they fixed it but i think the worst part was that - this guy in a cut-off shirt & shorts was fixing it!!! turns out it was the pastry chef. but imagine how WEIRD that looked like!!! when he was close to being done, he suddenly had a uniform on (but still in his shorts).

It was very pretty before it titled..
As long as it tasted yummy...

Mine looked like crap and tasted like crap..lol
