I just wanted to let everyone know that my fi & I called our engagement off. It ended about a month ago, but I didn't want to say anything incase - we ended up working things out, ya know? Unfortunately, he has not matured - so, getting back is highly unlikely. From my past posts... a lot of the stress and BS came from meddling MIL and INLAWS in general and exFI constantly taking their sides. I've been trying to go out with my friends to get him off my mind, but I miss him a lot!!! But, it's a double-edged sword - I either miss not being with him or be with him and be miserable, not ever being allowed to make my own decisions. I wanted to take a moment and thank you girls for all the great advice you've given me (especially T!). You girls are the best!!!

Def..be strong, and it sounds like you already are. Focus on what counts in your life and that is YOU. You are on the right track to making yourself a happy woman. And remember............we are always here for you

Thank you all for your support - it means so much to me I'd luv to post from time to time on the NWR board... but, I don't know what the protocol is for this sort of thing. You girls are the best and I wish you all the most spectacular weddings & marriages EVER! My one regret was not being able to attend one of the get togethers to meet you all in person
