My whole company got laid off today ...

...well this was a sh&tty day!

i worked for an online celebrity gossip blog and they pulled the plug on us because of 'the economy' even though we were actually getting a lot of hits and becoming more and more successful each day.

we all lost our jobs today (about 18 people)... got severance packages, and hopefully can get a job before that runs out. it was a complete and total shock to everyone.

i'm so bummed right now, because it really was an amazing job and place to work

My FH lost his job at a computer advertising agency last Tuesday. He was a network administrator. He has already been on three interviews and it pretty sure he's going to get one of those jobs next week. Don't worry, there are A LOT of jobs out there for people in the computer business.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm a true believer that things always happen for a reason, so I am sure that there is a much better job out there for you. The same thing happen to my friend and now she got this amazing job, she totally loves it there and it only took two weeks to get find it. Good luck!!! I'm sure everything will work out and you'll be very happy.
