My worst wedding experience...

Original post by SugaBeans

Thanks to Paradise Bridal my level of stress was at an all time high. I was told by the 'sales girl' when I ordered my dresses back in January that my dresses would be in in May. Well May came and went and my dresses never came. I was told at that point that my dresses would arrive the first week in August. Once again that came and went and of course NO DRESSES! After calling numerous times I was told that the 'sales girl' was wrong for telling me the dresses would be here in may, then again that the next person was wrong to tell me they would be here the first week in August. Seems like nobody knows what they are talking about and nobody wanted to take responsibilty for what was said. Well the dresses finally arrived the 3rd week in august. oh and guess what... NO FLOWERGIRL DRESS!!!! that dress wasnt going to ship until 6 weeks before the wedding. oh and the 'sales girl' tried to sell my FG a dress that was 2 sizes too small. My aunt insisted she get a bigger size and it fits perfect. What would they have done if the dress came in and it was the wrong size? You give someone 4 weeks to get a new dress in???
They say they dont schedule shipping until 2 months before the wedding for any dresses. Well I wouldnt have ordered my dresses in JANUARY if i didnt want them ASAP. They basically told me that I didnt want my dresses sooner than 2 months before the wedding anyway and it would be pleanty of time. How dare they tell me when I want my dresses. they dont know my situation
It felt like after they got our money, they didnt care anymore.

I asked what they would do to compensate me for my aggrivation, time spent and not to mention the numerous phone calls and they did nothing. I asked to speak to the owner and was told the owner doesnt speak to customers. Nice customer service.

I will be sure to pass the details of my horrible experience on to many friends in the future.

I was warned about Paradise bridal and didnt listen. I should have.

OH YEAH!!! and this great sales girl even gave me the name and number to SOMEONE else to go to for alterations. nice job taking money from the business you work for. she told me not to get my alterations done there. Nice right?

Donna was helpful when I finally got to speak to her. she tried to calm me down and make me feel better about it. it didnt work but at least she tried. better than the other people who passed me on from person to person.

OMG!! I'm soo sorry to hear about your experience!!! It's unfortunate that they don't realize how key good customer service is.

OMG I'm sorry you had to go through such a horrible experience. Obviously they don't care about their customers if they won't even speak to them when the customers have problems!! I hope everything works out.

if i was the owner of a business, i would try to make my customer happy and try to keep peace. This is a very powerful website and we all share our opinions. i wish I had a better one to give.
