Nail Emergency!

I have been growing out my nails for the better part of 2013 so far. I'm super proud of them because my nails are so brittle and prone to peeling and breaking.

The other day I noticed that my index finger nail (the longest one! my pride and joy!) had a tear reallyyy close to the tip of the finger. It this nail comes off I'm back to square one. The tear doesn't go all the way across - it's maybe like a 1/4 of the way.

Is there any nail technician magic that can save it?

They ccan probably put glue on it, or maybe put a wrap on it to prevent it from breaking all the way.

Worst case scenario when you get your nails done they put a tip on that one, if it does break.

I saw glue and power used on a girl's toe to prevent it from breaking. She got a Gel Pedicure after and you couldn't even tell. I'm sure a nail salon can do the same on your nails. If you don't want a tip, they can add an extension to make the length the same as the rest of your nails.
