Nail Tips?

Can someone tell me what the deal is with them? Is it a no-no? I heard not in the first 12 weeks...

Can you get them done? I know a mask should be worn, but will anything soak into your skin? Which kind is better to get? Silk or glass as opposed to Acrylic?

I used to be a nail bitter and lately I have shredded my nails out of nervousness! They look ugly and make me feel ugly because I still don't look PG just fat...I want to get them done, but I won't harm the baby.

Can anyone give me any info?

I still get my nails done. A friend of mine does them for me in her house, I am her first appointment so its not too smelly. I have a different friend who does nails for a living and she is 13 weeks and still works. I have lots of friend who had their nails done through out their entire pregnancy.

I know alot of people that still get them done. I only do manicures now because I was weary about the chemicals .... but I think you should be fine!

I've been getting acrylic since the beginning of my pregnancy and my doctor said it was fine.

I was told not to do it till your past five months/the tips and stuff

I just got manicures my entire pregnancy and took off my wraps when I found out I was pregnant, I guess, a lot of preggos do that b/c the girl knew right away! lol
when I took them off, she said ' you have baby!?'

I've been getting them done for my entire pregnancy so far. As long as it's a well ventilated area you should be alright.
