This has been weird for me - years ago I said I would NEVER change my name - after all I had taken all this time to discover myself -

Now, at 32 I have come to realize that I am me no matter what you call me (and people have called me a few names through the years

)

I actually have no problem taking his name-even though it means the end of my dad's last name - and yes my FH would take my last name - that was part of our original plan which has changed.

I am changing mine, although FH thinks I should take my last name as my middle name because I don't have one. That is NOT happening!

I'm changing mine! I'm looking forward to sharing my FH's last name. Also, I've wanted to get rid of my last name for quite a long time. It is my father's last name but he really hasn't ever been a part of my life. I'll be happy to have a last name of a family I am part of!
