Does anyone know if social security has a fee when we go to change our names? I know dmv will but Im not sure how much... Can I get some answers from you knowlegable married chicks??

Social Security does not but I had to wait on a LONGGGGG LINE which was terrible. I would have rather paid a fee.
DMV is $10 or $15 I think

Yes Social Security has a very long wait but doesnt charge a dime. It is advisable to get an appointment wish I did. You are right about DMV it is about $10.

I guess I was lucky. I went to SS today & I only waited about 20 minutes.

I went to to SS the 1st time in the afternoon, waited an hour and then left! I went back 2 days later when they opened and I only waited 10 minutes! GO EARLY!! And there's no fee!
