Name on Invite Question

Name on Invite Question

I have a co-worker who goes by her maiden name and refuses to use her married name.. My question is, on the invite do I disregard that and put:

Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

or.... do I put

Ms. Jane White
and
Mr. John Doe

I did the second. I think I looked it up in some etiquette. Throughout the whole process my FH made me look up everything.

I would use her maiden name out of respect since she purposely doesn't use her married name.

Oh and we put mrs not ms in similar cases. Probably wrong but we asked the couple lol

I had the issue of a Mr. and a Dr. wife and thats how we put it :' Mr. __ and Dr. ___'

I also realized that some of invites came back with a written in maiden name. Didn't bother me as it was on FMIL's names that she gave me. haha!
I'm just taking those written in names and going by them for seating.
