Re: Names on Place Cards
Not to sound like a dolt, but how on earth do you fit this all on a wee little card? Seems like the font for the names would have to be rather small? We have 3 lines of text and are worried about it being too difficult to read

Re: Names on Place Cards
Maybe leave out the 'mr & mrs'. They arent strangersto you. I dont think the place cards have to be that formal. JMO

Re: Names on Place Cards
Because my wedding was more on the formal side and I was having my place cards done by hand calligraphy, I used the guests formal titles, as in Mr. and Mrs. John Smith

Re: Names on Place Cards
For married couples, we're doing:
Mr. & Mrs. David Beckham Table 8
for unmarried couples we'll do'
Mr. Hugh Hefner & Miss Holly Madison Table 9

I was informal on place cards and wrote Joe & Jane Doe- I think either is fine!

Re: Names on Place Cards
This is what we did Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jones for married couples Mr. Fred Jones and Ms. Sally Smith for older couples that weren't married or for married couples who hadn't joint their names Mr. Fred Jones and Miss. Sally Smith for couples who were dating, younger, and had never been married.
