Narrowed down to 2 venues!
My cousin had her reception at Westbury Manor, it was a great wedding! The bartenders were great, the food was good, and the bridal suite was big! It was only clear there were other events going on if you went to the bathroom, but not a biggie. I think Westbury Manor is a great choice, I've never been to Jericho Terrace though, but I've heard many positive things from this board. Good luck!

You have a hard choice to make. I like both venues w/the only exception I love the grounds in Westbury Manor.

Good point. We didn't get to see the full ground cause its still cold out. But I was told they have peacocks and birds all around.

We were really into Jericho terrace it was between there and fox hollow. But when we went back, we weren't thrilled with some little details we saw like holes in the linens and chair covers (so be on the look out for that if you do book there!) and a big crack in the marble floors and we didn't like that the bridal suite was on a different floor than the room we would have been in (skylight). I also would have prefers built in bars rather than mobile ones. We also didn't like that there was only one area to take pictures in in the middle of the parking lot facing out to Jericho turnpike. The food we tasted was yummy though and the renovated rooms are gorgeous. I've never been to westbury manor but from what I saw online, it is beautiful.

I may be biased here but I vote WM...I didn't check out Jericho Terrance, but WM gave me a good price with soo many different food options. The grounds there are really nice (and I saw the Peacocks, they were pretty cool). Anyone I tell that I am getting married there agrees that the food and grounds are great. Im sure whatever you choose though will be fabulous! Happy Planning and Best Wishes!

I had no idea and I didn't even think about pictures. I guess I'm a little blinded by the amount of food they include. At least that's what fh keeps reminding me about.

Thank you! I wish I got to see the peacocks. The place is nice and the ballroom was so pretty. Where are your pictures going to be? I'm thinking oct-nov for my wedding

Re: Narrowed down to 2 venues!
The only thing I didn't like about WM was their vendor choice, so far I haven's used any of their vendors but whats good about WM is that even if you don't use their vendors you still pay $50 to feed them (band, DJ, photographer)

Did they charge a fee for using outside vendors? She didn't mention if they did or didn't. Just curious

I am obviously biased because i fell in love with jericho terrace. I know their not perfect but food was so important to my fiance and I. we have been to so many weddings were it ****** and coming from a greek and Italian families, food needs to be on point. Also the service blew us away, we loved that we were treated like family. Pictures seemed great for us, we love all the inside options (balconies and staircases) and we love the outside bridge and gazebo. also we are taking pictures at our church and possibly a park too since we have time between ceremony and reception. obviously their both beautiful venues so you cant really go wrong, best of luck!

You're totally right. So I think then it comes down to a matter of taste. I love the Jericho terrace look and the pictures we could take there. My photographer I booked showed us album from weddings the did there and we fell in love. You need to pick a place where you can see your FH and yourself at.

Definitely take a second trip back to both places and try to bring someone with you like parents or best friend.. We went back to our top two with our parents and they really helped us make the decision because they showed us little things we didn't see upon first visit (good and bad) at both places.

That's a good idea. I also have to see if jerricho terrace will come down in price since westbury is offering us a cheaper price. But jerricho is giving us way more stuff.

Narrowed down to 2 venues!
Personally, I was in a wedding a long time ago (like high school-ish lol), at Jericho Terrace and while I liked the cocktail hour, I just remember not liking the atmosphere as much. I always thought it was so weird having this nice place on busy Jericho Turnpike.I've never been to Westbury Manor, but it looks really nice in photos. If I wasn't really looking for anything in Suffolk, I may have gone with Westbury Manor or at least looked at it.

I went to wedding at Jericho Terrace back in January and the food was great and there was a lot of it. The service wasn't all that great though at least at our table. Also there are lots of stairs. As far as photos I think they're all done indoors which is beautiful but I wasn't a fan of the guests watching the couple as they take photos as well as guests from another wedding going on at the same time. I love the outdoors of Westbury Manor but the interior not so much haven't been to a wedding there yet but my neighbor got married there and her pictures are gorgeous.Welcome New Vendors
