I haven't been to a wedding there, but I have been to several functions there (as I'm a lawyer)and it never occurred to me to have such a function at this facility. I assume you would have to bring in a caterer, as I do not believe that they supply this. Otherwise, I don't think it has much 'ambiance'.

the facility im referring to is at the corner of west and 15th streets. they have been doing weddings there for several years, through signet caterers who are on premise (they serve food to the judges and lawyers at the restaurant there during the week). I thought that very old 'grand hall' when you first walk in was great, with the high cathedral ceiling and stained glass and fire place. Is this the same place you're thinking of? thanks!

gimpybride is the lawyer, not me!! The caterer for the wedding is actually the same service that provides the food for the restaurant (they actually run the restaurant). Interestingly enough, I just saw it listed quite furtively in a wedding mag as 'fifteenth and west' in garden city. Interesting. Thanks for the input.

Nassau Bar Association

My FH is also a lawyer, has been to the Nassau County Bar Association many times. A lawyer at his firm was just married there and loved it! He also thinks it is a nice place to hold a wedding.

I went to a wedding there in the fall of 1999. I am not sure of who the caterer was, but the food was great. I liked the place and the service. Check out www.stonecaterers.com. They advertise the place on their site, but I am not sure if they are still the caterer. I used them for my wedding at a different place and the food was amazing.
