Which will you do? I wanted natural but so far all trials have played up my eyes alot (and done a neutral lip) so that it comes out looking glamourous- which also looks very nice, but very different than what I am used to- I'm just not used to seeing myself with makeup at all...

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
Good question! I don't know yet.... I'm very tempted to go glam but like you, I don't normally wear alot of makeup so I don't know how it will look. I've only had one trial so far and it was more of a natural look... I liked it but obviously not that much since I didn't book. Guess I have to try both!

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I plan on going glam, but this is because I am a make-up wearer and it would be more 'me'. I think it is most important to look yourself. So if you are normally more natural, go that route- just make sure it shows up well in pics before the big day!!!

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
There is an ad on this site, which rotates in and out of the column on the right here. It's a make-up vendor--it might be Clarin Cohen? I brought that picture with me when I went for my trial. Even though I don't usually wear much make-up I wanted to look at least a little glamourous in my wedding pics

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I want to look somewhat natural, but I like my eyes to stand out...but they always put more makeup on then you really need so you don't looked washed out in the pics...

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I would love to go glam, but FH hates when a woman has tons of makeup on. He says it takes away their natural beauty. I'll see if they're is anything 'in-between' and probably go with that. Good luck to you all.

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I want something in between because I want to look back at the pictures in 20 years and say 'Wow, I looked beautiful.' Not, 'Oh my God, what was I thinking with all that eyeliner!' But every trial I've had, they pile on the make-up, even though I keep saying I want something natural. I may end up doing my own.

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
i don't use too much on my eyes since they are small and look brighter with just mascara and shimmer. but i think there is a happy medium...i want to look like me, but prettier...i will play up my lips and have blush, but not go overboard. i want to look romantically flushed, not red carpet ready!

I'm not sure either. I did my trial and looked natural, but I felt too 'regular' like I could do it myself. On the other hand, if I go too glam I may feel like a street walker. I just not sure!

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I am going natural- I don't wear makeup normally so it would be too much of a shock to my system to do glam. Plus my fiance likes the fact that I don't wear makeup- I don't think he would like the glam.

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I do wear makeup, its actually kind of a hobby of mine, but I want to look natural. I'm afraid the most makeup artist are used to people that don't where makeup, or who feel they don't know what they are doing, so they let the makeup artist do whatever, and that she will have a set idea in her head of what 'wedding' make up should look like and it won't be what I am thinking of. I d have ictes, but i'm afraid they'll tell me its not enough for a wedding. I'm goign for a very natural fall theme though, so glam makeup wouldn't work. I am wearing my hair down too, and I think natural makeup goes better with that look.
I'd do it myself, but I can never get foundation to last all day witout looking dry.

Re: Natural Makeup vs. Glam
I am definately going with the Natural Look! I NEVER wear makeup. So a drastic change would be uncomfortable for me!
I went on my trial last weekend, and she did it great! Here are the pics[
